# ICE LABS

> ICE LABS (ICE LABS SDN BHD) is a boutique Ruby on Rails and AI engineering consultancy, founded in 2011. We build high-quality Rails applications, SaaS platforms, and AI-powered backends for startups and scaleups worldwide.

ICE LABS has focused exclusively on Ruby on Rails since 2015. We specialise in custom Rails development, legacy upgrades (Rails 6/7 → 8), SaaS architecture, and integrating AI capabilities — including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agentic AI systems — into Ruby and Rails codebases.

Our founder, MD Jamal, has over a decade of Rails experience and leads all client engagements personally. We are a small, senior-only team with no juniors on client work.
